The Bliss of Painting
I feel blessed to have the talent to paint. It brings so much joy to my life. It makes me slow down by working through the process. It makes me think and observe - everything I see around me including the Kalanchoes in my garden, the ocean 15 minutes away, the vast sky which from minute to minute is never the same. All this brings an awareness of an element of spirituality that nourishes me.
Etsy gives me the opportunity to share and give enjoyment to others. It excites me that someone across the globe finds my painting and wants to own it. The fact that paintings can delight generations is wonderful. Without meaning to, I can touch someone in a way that brings an emotional connection to them through my painting.
