This scene reflects the quiet, relaxed times in conversation in the wilderness of cottage country.
One starts the morning off with coffee and the majestic view of the northern lake, along with good conversation.
I took this photo in 2012 but it really spoke to me to paint it this year. I love the simplicity of the setting and the suggestion of what has just transpired.
I'm crossing my fingers to be able to cross the international border this summer and enjoy my sister's cottage - which has endless inspirations to paint.
