I seem to have an affinity to the painting of chairs.
Often times I see a personality in them that I love to capture on canvas.

This Greek chair has been a subject of several of my paintings.
I came across this scene on the island of Paros, in the town of Naoussa, Greece.

During an early morning walk, after maneuvering through narrow ally ways, unexpectedly this view of the ‘Scruffy Beach’ appeared.
This lone chair was proudly sitting against the early dawn sky.
I could imaging that the evening before a small group of older local villagers were engaged in conversation.
Did someone forget to bring in his chair…?

This painting is an original oil on canvas, 30” x 30” x .75 deep”.
The sides are unpainted - which I will gladly paint on request.
The back is signed "Yvonne V. Wagner / oil on canvas"
The style is loose and energetic as well as colourful – just as Greece is.
It is an original oil painting - not a print. No prints of any of my work exist.
