I have longed to paint this small beautiful tree which I am privileged to see when I'm in Virginia.
In winter the golden leaves shine against the dull winter background of the forest.
I believe it to be a birch tree.
To me the leaves are breathtaking!

It is signed and titled on the back. Y. Wagner is etched into the wet paint on the lower left.
The 1.5" deep edges are painted dark blue grey.
