This 20" x 16" painting is another in a series of close up details of the Kalanchoe plant - nicknamed Flap Jack.
It is a succulent plant and the leaves are reminiscent of pancakes.
These grow in my garden, so I have an unlimited source for the play of light and shadow to paint from.

GAEITY is an unframed, colorful, original oil on canvas painting.
The front of the painting has the signature etched quietly into the paint "Y. Wagner ".
It is also signed on the back of the canvas Yvonne V. Wagner .
The 1.5" sides are painted white. Canvas by Fredrix.
